iOS Developer


Wayfair is looking for a mid-level iOS developer to join its award winning mobile team. We've already built apps for Wayfair, Joss & Main, and AllModern and we're looking for an experienced developer to help us to elevate our apps to the next level and take on some exciting new challenges. Our retail apps display over 6 million products and are seen by over 4 million people per month!


  • Help shape the direction of the team (35 iOS developers) and our mobile direction for the company
  • Work with the team to create new iOS apps built upon our common mobile framework
  • Build delightful user experiences with beautiful UI, engaging animations, and optimal performance
  • Contribute ideas to improve our team processes and best practices based on your extensive experience
  • Work with the team to write new features and UI in existing iOS apps


  • Design and build an awesome UI/UX for iPhone and iPad apps - Write high quality Swift (and occasionally Objective-C) code
  • Contribute to our quality processes by writing unit and integration tests for use in continuous integration
  • Occasionally contribute to the development of RESTful services (in PHP) required to enable new app features


You Have:

  • Great communication skills and a sense of humor
  • A desire to be part of an excellent mobile team
  • 2-4+ years of iOS or macOS development – experience with Swift and the iOS SDK
  • Experience building your own applications
  • Experience writing apps that consume RESTful services
  • A great understanding of Object Oriented Design, MVC, and other architectures
  • Knowledge of SQL and a web language like PHP, Python, Java, or C#
  • Experience writing apps for retail is a big plus
