Program Manager, B2B Strategy and Operations

B2B is one of the largest and fastest growing businesses within Wayfair, providing professionals in every industry with thousands of new products every day.  We have a large sales force across 3 sites as well as dedicated teams in Operations, Product, Marketing, Category Management/Merchandising, Services, Finance, and Business Intelligence.

The B2B Program Management team is responsible for accelerating revenue growth via upfront strategy development, effective deployment of initiatives, and rigorous reporting for the various customer segments that comprise the B2B business. The team supports and iterates on existing programs, tests and pilots new efforts, and advocates strategic asks to cross-functional teams across Wayfair.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing recommendations and creating solutions to complex, ambiguous and high visibility business challenges, with the goal of optimally aligning Wayfair’s B2B sales teams with revenue growth opportunities. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional leaders to design and implement these solutions. As the “COO” of a sales program, you will act as a project manager, communicator, and coordinator of activities that touch that set of customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive strategy development and operational execution for a subset of B2B customers.
  • Be the primary ‘face’ of Operations to Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders as the owner of your program.
  • Partner with the Sales Operations and Insights & Analytics teams to rigorously measure program performance and report on KPIs, then channel the learnings into ongoing program/process improvement.
  • Drive complex projects to completion using effective project management, communication and influence.


  • BA/BS degree, with strong academic record
  • Strong project management, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated experience with cross-functional collaboration and influence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An affinity for data and proficiency with Excel (enough to be dangerous)
  • Openness to change and comfort with ambiguity, given the high growth nature of our business
  • Strong team orientation, sense of humor, and enthusiastic attitude
