The Workplace Services Space Management Planner will develop, establish and implement a turnkey process of allocating appropriate workspace all our Global locations. A successful candidate is highly efficient, solution-oriented, data savvy. A balance of customer service and computational design is a vital to the success in this role.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Real Estate and Workplace Services teams to establish a Workspace Strategy for current and future capacity management and desk allocation. Manages small and large employee moves for all locations
  • Promote Wayfair culture through space design, planning
  • Management of cultural and emotional connection associated with Workspace allocation and employee needs
  • Utilize data analytics and analysis tools to guide the team in generating optimal space solutions
  • Make recommendations to enhance space standards, operational efficiency, service delivery, cost savings, and innovative service advancements
  • Effectively manage multiple Wayfair locations including the Copley Headquarters
  • Accountability to Senior Manager of Workplace Services


  Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in large scale corporations with 1,000+ employees
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to take on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines punctually
  • Professional presence and clear communication skills
  • Produce clean analysis and outcomes for manager/ team consumption
  • Promotes Employee experience
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Proven ability to work on a team
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication
  • Complete knowledge in Workspace specific computer programs- AutoCad and FM Global, WISP, or other large scale space planning program
  • Demonstrate skills in the areas of written and oral communication
