Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and creative problem-solver to help grow our newly formed Competitive Intelligence organization.  This group’s mission is to acquire and use data to illustrate the competitive landscape across the spectrum including: selection, velocity, price, merchandising, customer satisfaction and site functionality.  This is a unique opportunity to concretely impact the success of high visibility initiatives and help establish the Competitive Intelligence team as reliable and impactful leaders in our domain.  

Job Description:

  • Leverage Project Management processes, frameworks, and best practices to effectively execute projects from kickoff to completion, including coordination of resources, meetings, and feedback while diligently working to ensure all projects are on track, on time, and in scope
  • Create and maintain essential management artifacts, to include: Business Requirements Documents, project plans, and timelines
  • Leverage strong quantitative reasoning to evaluate business impact and prioritize competing initiatives
  • Act as liaison between the Competitive Intelligence team and strategic build partners to assist with requirements gathering, cross-functional execution, testing, and strategic communication
  • Succinctly communicate project status, deliverables, key decisions, action items, and risks
  • Identify and mitigate inter-project and inter-team dependencies and risks
  • Help define new and improve existing processes across functions

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree with 2-5 years of experience
  • Pragmatic, process-oriented, and unafraid of ambiguity
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Innovative problem-solving skills – dissect and determine root causes of problems, and implement solutions
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in cross-functional environment
  • Ability to identify and succinctly summarize roadblocks and constraints, initiate discussion of potential solutions, and drive toward resolution
  • Senior presence with thoughtful, articulate communication style
  • Strong sense of curiosity, adaptability, and humor
  • Experience with Agile development is preferred
