Strategy Consultant, International Supply Chain 

We are seeking an entrepreneurial associate to a run major new business build PMO for Wayfair. This associate will drive the PMO for our “virtual” vertical integration into Asia source of supply; track implementation of our country specific logistic footprint for cross-vendor Asia consolidation opportunity beginning with China and Vietnam; run our vendor and site selection process for China and Vietnam.

The right candidate will bring a true business building mindset focused on outcomes and impact for Wayfair. This includes end-to-end ownership: strategy, solution and roadmap design, PMO discipline, vendor selection, vendor management and value measurement. 

The ideal candidate will have direct experience in performing market research analytics for the team that is managing logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, export import documentation, customs vendors based in Asia.



  • Lead specific PMO workstream(s) to build out our Asia Supply Chain network
  • Develop applicable analysis and run sourcing strategies as needed
  • Discover suppliers who are complementary partners to our mission
  • Engage and reengage carriers / freight forwarders / warehouse owners in Asia (China, HongKong and Vietnam) to build and maintain relationships
  • Track overall program status and ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Drive focus and escalation on activities that are at risk of delay
  • Analyze risk and perform risk management
  • Work with cross-functional teams
  • Project Management – Experience in detailing activities for and owning workstream in complex global projects
  • Execution – strong ability to make a plan come to life with a creative approach quickly
  • Detail-oriented and organized – eye for detail and remember to cross your “T’s” and dot your “I’s.”



  • 1-2+ years of experience in market research analytics
  • Strong quantitative and problem solving mindset with strict attention to detail
  • Experience presenting and communicating with senior management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Previous experience working with cross functional teams
  • Expertise in Microsoft office, especially Excel
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-reliant and able to motivate others
