Job Description

Wayfair is seeking a talented and capable Senior Creative Project Manager to join our growing in house team!  This is an exciting opportunity to actively mentor a team of coordinators and maintain creative operational excellence in an effort to take our project management and communication to the next level.  The Senior Creative Project Manager will work closely with senior leaders across the Creative and Marketing teams to help shape our creative roadmaps and project strategy across several brands. Our ideal candidate is a skilled leader, strong manager, and someone with demonstrated experience in overseeing several creative projects and strategic initiatives. Strong communication, organization and negotiation skills are a must.  This individual is should also be comfortable working with data to drive planning and workflow decisions.




  • Manage, coach and inspire a team of 4+
  • Establish and cultivate trust with creative teams, and cross-functional leaders
  • Focus creative resources on high quality work that drives our brand/business goals
  • Prepare and disseminate communication and reports to key stakeholders
  • Conduct periodic audits of incoming marketing requests to ensure they meet our customer and brand needs
  • Partner with marketing leaders to understand and meet regularly on project roadmaps & priorities
  • Lead forecasting analysis and capacity planning for creative teams
  • Identify trends and workflow opportunities by leveraging data and team feedback
  • Develop and implement strategic project  action plans and risk management assessments
  • Enforce project management processes and workflow plans
  • Collaborate with peers on creative solutions
  • Analyze Creative Project Management organization, processes and optimize creative resource allocation
  • Works closely with team to set goals, performance evaluation and day-to-day mentoring; ensure production teams are supported and well trained
  • Manage and prioritize several high priority projects at once



  • 5+  years of project management experience
  • Experience in people management preferred
  • Strong negotiation, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Strong willingness to learn and roll up sleeves in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem solver & strong critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Strong grasp on emerging and leading industry technology, tools and trends
  • Highly organized; strong at multitasking and prioritization
  • Experience with Excel, creating pivot tables and using project management programs
  • Experience with data analysis and capacity reporting tools
  • Experience with SQL is a plus
