Job Description

As a Senior Analyst/Manager, you will be at the center of building how Wayfair will achieve its strategic goal of changing the way home furnishings are purchased and delivered to customers across the globe!  As a central member of the Product Performance Analytics team, you will shape the understanding of executive leadership as they look improve the performance of the Supplier Engagement Team, the Wayfair Delivery Network Team, other Operations stakeholders across Wayfair. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with Directors and Managers across our Product Performance Organization to drive strategic initiatives for our Supplier Engagement and Asset Management teams
  • Understand Wayfair’s value chain from supplier to customer, and determine where strategic product performance opportunities exist
  • Work cross-functionally toward solving some of Wayfair’s toughest strategic and operational challenges
  • Leverage analytical findings to create actionable business plans, build buy-in and execute against those plans across multiple business units
  • Mange to results using data to inform on initiative performance and potential next steps
  • Work directly with business and initiative leaders to facilitate delivery of strategic changes
  • Engage in senior leadership updates on team findings and progress
  • Manage multiple initiatives concurrently to deliver product performance enhancement pursuant to Wayfair’s strategic goals

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Physics, or other concentrations with heavy quantitative focus strongly preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and MS Office required
  • SQL proficiency highly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience working in an analyst role or management consulting
  • Experience working with large datasets and driving business insights
