Job Description

Wayfair Finance is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to assist the Real Estate group with planning, forecasting, portfolio analytics and cost auditing. The Senior Analyst will drive value by enabling the best business decisions through financial and quantitative analysis and business process optimization. Specifically, the analyst will engage in financial forecasting and budgeting, real estate portfolio performance analytics, capacity planning, lease data and cost auditing. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with excellent analytical, data manipulation and communication skills.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead ongoing analysis of real estate portfolio performance, provide day to day financial analysis, modeling, and data analytics for the real estate team working closely with business lines, global operations, accounting, and other teams as necessary
  • Produce quarterly financial forecast, analyze variances in forecasted performance and communicate changes to the team leadership and business partners
  • Provide monthly budgeting and real estate portfolio performance analysis, track and analyze KPIs, identify drivers of variances, provide recommendations for forecast adjustments
  • Assist with real estate cost auditing, provide cost data analysis and make recommendations on opportunities for cost savings
  • Participate in lease administration, assist with lease data audits and monitor data accuracy in lease administration system
  • Support the need for ad-hoc projects related to financial performance, portfolio metrics and management presentations

 

Qualifications:

  • High proficiency in Excel and MS Office
  • Strong command of financial and data analysis concepts
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • 2-3y of FP&A or financial analysis or data analytics experience
  • Energetic, motivated and dependable

 


Work Experience and Education Guidelines:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Minimum two years in an analytical role, with emphasis on finance, real estate, consulting, banking, investing, or FP&A
