Job Description

Wayfair, the largest online-only retailer of home furnishings and house wares in the United States, is looking for a self-motivated Call-Center Leader with a track record of building great teams to head our Front of Sales Funnel Lead Program. Our Enrollment Teams are dedicated to enrolling a variety of businesses in a variety of verticals including education, hospitality, government, healthcare, property management, non-profit, retail, financial services into our B2B Wayfair Professional Program. If hired, you will run a large organization that handles all lead flow coming into the company. Your teams will make outbound calls to these leads to verify business status, collect business information, and enroll these prospects into the business program. The Enrollment Team is responsible for driving high quality leads into the sales channel. We are looking for the right individual to take this team to the next level as we grow this division to over $1Billion dollars in the next 18 months.

The right candidate will have experience in driving daily activity levels, management performance through managers, developing future leaders and motivating teams, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to thoughtfully maximize an outreach process for the best possible outcomes, highly analytical with a strong ability to create new and better process.  Other critical success factors for this role include a competitive spirit, a great attitude, flexibility, and an objective point of view on team performance. This role will also be responsible for offshore teams, so any experience running teams in the Philippines, South America, or Europe is a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, supervising and coaching sales staff and Supervisors
  • Review sales staff performance against KPIs and identify training needs to close performance gaps
  • Ensures appropriate resources are available to meet changing business requirements to meet performance objectives
  • Make decisions about business policies, manage risks and resolve employee issues
  • Coordinates and implements bonus, reward and recognition programs to drive both group and individual performance
  • Hold regular morning meetings with Senior Management to discuss performance trends and action items
  • Work with Operations to develop effective reporting and data analysis

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of management experience in a call-center or operational capacity, with proven leadership track record and verifiable history of managing a successful, high volume outbound sales teams with demonstrated consistent goal achievements
  • Understand and apply project management methods and processes to define, plan, resource, track and ensure sales goals are met
  • Outbound Sales Management experience preferred
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and “roll up your sleeves” – this role is very “hands on”
  • Proven coaching skills that can impact both front-line staff and develop supervisors
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience (i.e. 5+ years industry experience in lieu of degree)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and financial/analytical skills
